Natacha is the younger sister of the eminent Yann Chave and it is clear that wine-making talent runs in the family. Beginning with a tiny, 1.3 hectare vineyard in St Joseph in 2004, in 2007 she added a small plot of old vines in Crozes Hermitage.

All her vineyard work is meticulously done by hand and everything is organic and biodynamic with sulphur use being kept to an absolute minimum and indigenous yeasts used. The wines are bottled with no fining or filtration.

These are wines that have a great sense of place and terroir. There is a slightly wild side to them that I love; they are full of character and intense, pure fruit whilst retaining a superb balance. They are also extremely good value for money

Aromas of wild herbs, leather, dark spicy fruit and earthy minerals. Ripe, mouth-filling and weighty, with deeply swirling black fruit layers. Made from a tiny parcel of 50 year old vines.
