Domaine du Heron Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie 2023

Domaine du Héron is just 20 km from the city of Nantes, in the heart of the Muscadet  Sèvre-et-Maine AOC. Philippe Nevoux is commited to making traditional wines, and farming organically. The estate’s name is a reference to the local herons who have taken residence on a small pond among the vineyards.

This is a quintessential Muscadet. Focused, crisp and saline. It's no surprise this wine is just perfect with an oyster or crustacean aperitif, or the classic moules frites, but it's just as glorious with an impromptu get together, or a Wednesday night dinner of green salad and slices of smoked salmon.
